Higher Education in Germany

Germany is one of the most resourceful countries in the world. It is famous for its development of science, technology and education .the government name of Germany is Federal Republic of Germany. At present many students are very eager to go to Germany for higher education there because education of this country is very venerable. The most favorable condition for higher education of this country is that here students can continue their studies without any tuition fees.

For higher education there are Batchelor degree, Masters Degree course, Doctoral and Post Doctoral degree in Germany. Besides there are also Non degree program. There are two semesters in the universities of Germany and these semesters are summer and winter. Summer semester begins at from April to September and the winter semester begins from October to March. For Bachelor Course the course duration is generally 4 (four) years, for Masters Degree one to two years.

Qualification: For Batchelor degree minimum H.S.C pass is applicable. After Bachelor degree one can apply for Masters Degree. After this one can again apply for higher degree.

Tuition fees and other ex pedience:
For higher education in governmenty universities do not need any tuition fees. But for private universities the tuition fees is 500 to 550 euro for per semester.

Language: German language is used for higher education in many other universities in Germany. For this one has to take a course on German language. Some other universities teach on English. So TOEFL and IELTS are also essential for these institutions. One should have score 213 or score 79-80 on TOEFL and score 6.0 on IELTS.
