and Merit Scholarships are available to support
students from Bangladesh doing either a full-time
campus-based postgraduate taught Masters degree
or a Masters degree by distance learning.
Full-time campus-based postgraduate taught
The University is offering four scholarships
to applicants from Bangladesh starting in
September 2012. The scholarships cover full
tuition fees, return international airfares
and living expenses.
The scholarships are aimed at applicants from
Applicants who are interested in science and
engineering courses must have a bachelors
degree from a public university with a minimum
overall score of 70%. Applicants who are interested
in education and social sciences courses must
have a Masters degree from a public university
with a minimum overall score of 55%.
Applicants must also:
Be a resident citizen of Bangladesh and have
not previously studied abroad;
Have a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5.
Scholarships are available in a wide range
of subjects including Engineering, Environment,
Medical and Life Sciences, and Education.

the British Council, Dhaka on behalf of the
